Spring 2022
About four years ago I began ripping out the grasses and weeds at the little dirt area around the streetlight between Chapman’s and what’s now the 7-11. Four years on it has a nice display of iris in the blue/white family and a couple of the dark lupines have finally taken hold. The Snow-in-Summer groundcover is flourishing. I wish I had some before pictures!

Spring 2023
Despite being ravaged by having a new pole installed earlier this year this little guerilla garden patch seems to be doing nicely. Half of the bed has been replaced by gravel, It looks like a sign might be going in.
In late summer some stray Siberian Iris and some evening blue Bearded Iris were added.
